About
Curt E. Newell has been captivated by reading and the art of storytelling since age 12 when he was given The Hobbit and The Fellowship of the Ring from his grandmother. He quickly absorbed the content of a variety of books and films. As he grew older, reluctantly but slightly more dignified than kicking and screaming, Curt found that having a creative outlet is the perfect way to express his thoughts, creativity, and imagination. Thanks to inspirational authors (Tolkein, Lewis, Clancy, Dale Brown, Terry Brooks, Stephen R. Donaldson, Robert E. Howard, Burroughs, George Orwell, Ayn Rand, George R.R. Martin, Michael Crighton, Ann Coulter, Gary Larson, and God) he quickly fell in love with writing and screenwriting. Curt is exploring this new adventure as a fledgling (one step above aspiring novice!) writer and screenwriter, and hopes to collaborate with like-minded creatives who want to bring their stories to life on the page or on the screen.
